About

I graduated from McMaster University with an undergraduate BA Honors in the Fine Arts, where I learned and worked in diverse media ranging from painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, instillation, photography, and video. I have had several public art exhibits in and out of school at the McMaster Museum of Art and Loose Canon Gallery, just to mention a few.

I was also once a partner in a multimedia company based out of Hamilton called “gcproMultimedia” which developed and designed mainly commercial and educational web -based projects. More recently I have been extensively immersed in pedagogical assessment and application of a variety of technology innovations in academic activities in the Social Sciences at McMaster University. I have done design work for a few universities in southern Ontario involving a variety of diverse research based initiatives ranging from performance of blackface minstrelsy to technology in education.

My more recent work travels also brought me to Africa in Fall of 2008, for a special technology assessment at the Christian University of Uganda, in Mukono Town, Uganda. This was a grant funded project under the direction of Dr. Jean Chamberland and Dr. Susan Watt; both Faculty members at McMaster. I am still currently working at McMaster University, for the Faculty of Social Sciences as a ‘Learning Technologies Consultant’.

Aside from my regular duties at Mac I also try and continue to produce and (occasionally) exhibit my work produced in my studio (amidst glorious suburbia) in Burlington, Ontario.
