This was my little nod to the Hamilton Spectator for the amazing permanent historical archives they fund at the Hamilton Public Library.  I spent a couple of days in that area of the library when I was originally doing the research for this work.  Anything from organized crime, prostitution, murders, drugs, and the biker culture where all discovered in the various articles I read in those archives…I hope they will one day be online for all to search and browse.  Hamilton, as I discovered in my research, has a rich history of violence and crime that is more complex than one would expect.  A worth-while endeavor for anyone trying out their sleuthing skills in the post industrial east end of Hamilton, Ontario.
